U3A Play reading group

In our Play-reading group, we read plays aloud (but we don’t act them out as such).

So far, we have tried Shakespeare through to panto, so we enjoy the serious as well as the amusing plays with plenty of variety.

The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, with a fairly equal balance of women and men. Play-

reading takes place on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 1.30.p.m. in Café 50.
