Pontyclun Walking Rugby festival

On Sunday 31st July 2022 Pontyclun organised the largest Walking rugby festival ever held in Wales.

With over 170 players playing 72 matches across the morning in rain and sun this was a great opportunity to showcase the growing sport of Walking Rugby

Essentially touch rugby played at walking pace it is particularly suited to older players, those with injuries and mixed abilities.

Teams attending consisted of men and women with a range of ages and abilities from all across South wales and South West of England.
