Pontyclun Masonic Hall

The Masonic Hall in Pontyclun stands across the road near to the War Memorial providing a striking vista to those coming from the south

The Masons have met in Pontyclun since 1920 – The Warrant of Constitution was on the 13th July 1920 and it was consecrated on the 12th November 1920

The Masonic Hall itself was opened around 1934

“Mr A. H. N. Reddsway presided...it was resolved to inscribe on the minute book an expression of regret at the death of Mr. Jones Parry, late Grand Chief Templar of the English Grand Lodge of Wales. Tea was provided by the Pontyclun Lodge...”
