Groesfaen Gwyrdd

Sefydlwyd Groesfaen Gwyrdd ym mis Medi 2020, gyda’r bwriad o ddod â thrigolion at ei gilydd i godi ysbryd cymunedol a gwella amgylchedd ein pentref. Rydym eisoes wedi creu gardd fach i ddenu adar a phryfed ynghanol y pentref a hefyd wedi plannu bylbiau a llwyni ar ddarn o dir diffaith.

Dros y Nadolig, gyda chymorth y Cyngor Cymuned, codwyd dwy goeden Nadolig gyda goleuadau yn y pentref a daeth 4 corrach direidus i ymweld â ni.

Mae ein cynlluniau ar gyfer y dyfodol yn cynnwys gweithgareddau i blant a theuluoedd ar ôl y pandemig a chymryd rhan yn y cynllun ‘tin ar y wal’ i gasglu nwyddau i’r Banciau Bwyd lleol.

Groesfaen Gwyrdd was established in September 2020, with the aim of bringing residents together to raise community spirit and improve the environment of our village. We have already created a small garden to attract birds and insects in the centre of the village and also planted bulbs and shrubs on a derelict piece of land.

Over the Christmas period, with the help of the Community Council, two Christmas trees with lights were erected in the village and 4 mischievous elves came to visit us.

Our plans for the future include activities for children and families after the pandemic and taking part in the ‘tin on the wall’ scheme to collect goods for local Food Banks.
