Brynsadler Bridge – weight limit

There has been some comment online recently regarding Brynsadler Bridge and that a weight limit applies, requesting Pontyclun Town Council and /or RCT CBC to put up signage to reflect this.

The Town Council in its July meeting agreed to investigate further and to take appropriate action should it be needed regarding signage.

We have now been advised the RCT CBC that there is NO weight limit on Brynsadler bridge and the normal standard UK road weight limits apply.

It seems that confusion has arisen between the weight assessment loading during testing and weight limits.
