Possible Bronze age round barrow – Cefn y Hendy
Just south of Ysgol Gynradd Gymudenol Gymraeg Llantrisant lies an area of open field with trees and paths through it.
In a largely impenetrable thicket, appears to be a horseshoe-shaped mound with the opening on the North east.
A damaged round barrow from the Bronze age is a possibility, though no finds have been reported.
The size and location is suitable for a round barrow, being on a ridge, but a windmill mound is also possible. Dimensions: Diameter at least 20m, height c2m
Just south of the path leading to Bryn Amlwg are also some crop marks of undetermined date
